Avia Erwin (4th Grade) and Emari Greer (3rd Grade)
Avia Erwin walks into school with a smile on her face everyday. Her cheerful personality lights up the classroom and helps her peers stay positive. Avia tries so hard everyday and on every assignment. She shows her work, stays focused, asks questions, and even supports her peers when able. She never gives up. Avia continues to grow and I am so proud of her! Avia is a ROARing Tiger! - (Samantha Listello - 4th Grade ELAR, Science and Social Studies Teacher)
I would like to nominate Emari Greer for student of the month. Emari is a great example of a Trenton Tiger. He shows respect not only to the adults on campus, but also to his peers. He is always willing to lend a hand or assist someone in need. I love the kindness and encouragement Emari shows to others. He has a great attitude, and is always willing to try his best. Emari is committed to growing and learning, even when it sometimes gets challenging. His caring heart is a huge part of our classroom culture, and I am so glad Emari is on our team. - (Jennifer Nager - 3rd Grade ELAR Teacher)

Michelle Gimeno, Shelley Cooper and Christina King - Kindergarten Teaching Team
Mrs. King, Mrs. Gimeno, and Mrs. Cooper do an outstanding job with our Little Tigers! They demonstrate an incredible amount of patience and genuine care for each of their students, creating a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
Kindergarten plays a critical role in fostering a lifelong love of learning, while also introducing important behavioral expectations, and these teachers excel at both. They consistently reinforce ROARING behaviors in a way that is meaningful and impactful for their students.
Beyond building a strong academic foundation, Mrs. King, Mrs. Gimeno, and Mrs. Cooper also prioritize relationships with both students and parents. They communicate effectively with families and emphasize the importance of staying engaged in their child’s education.
For many children, kindergarten is their very first school experience, and these teachers go above and beyond to make that transition positive, not just for the students, but for the parents as well. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment truly make a lasting difference. We are fortunate to have them as part of our team! - (Kelly Dudley - TES Counselor)
Mrs. Cooper teaches us how to add numbers. I really love it when she takes us to PE and recess. (Steven Tormoehlen - Kindergarten student)
I love Mrs. King. I love Reading, and she teaches me words I don't know. (Blake Pittsinger - Kindergarten student)
Mrs. Gimeno teaches us about plants and she let us paint a plate that looks like the Earth for Earth Day. She is the best teacher. (Bella Trevino - Kindergarten student)

Jocelyn Abshire and Lyla Barns - 3rd Grade
Jocelyn Abshire is a wonderful role model who truly ROARS like a Tiger. She shows respect not only to adults but to her peers on a daily basis. She treats all students with fairness and compassion. Jocelyn has a great work ethic and always tries her best. Not only does she come to school ready to learn, but is one of the first to encourage and motivate others. Shout out to Mrs. Nager and Mrs. Huckestein. They offered bonus assignments and incentives when we missed school during the snow days. This kept the students engaged and involved, and we had many of our kids working while they were at home and out of school. I love how they're always working towards student growth and keeping parents involved. #3rdGradeRocks (Lisa Kellner - 3rd Grade Science/Social Studies Teacher)
I believe Mrs. Kellner is a great teacher. She is nice, smart, funny, and let's me sit by my friends. She always helps me when I'm stuck. Mrs. Kellner is nice to everyone. - Austin Zimmer 3rd Grade Student
I believe Mrs. Nager is a very helpful teacher. I like her because she is a funny and supportive teacher. I also like that she is sometimes crazy about "6-7." Mrs. Nager is our shortest and last rotatation, but she is worth the wait. - Kimber Wolfe - 3rd Grade Student
I believe Mrs. Huckestein is a great teacher because she helps us find ways to figure out our math problems. She is also very sweet. - Lyla Barnes - 3rd Grade Student

Norma Moore - TES School Secretary
I would like to Shout Out Norma Moore.
We moved our kids to Trenton ISD last minute (a few days before school started). Our heads were spinning with all the tasks needing to transfer the kids to a new school while purchasing a home. Lots of exciting things but also very stressful.
Mrs. Moore explained each step in detail to me which took the guess work out of it all. She took an overwhelming task and really made it easy and was incredibly supportive. I appreciated all her efforts in helping us out.
Thank you,
Elyse Goode
Students: Dylan Goode (3rd Grade) & Autumn Goode (6th Grade)

For the month of November these students answered 29,586 correct math questions. Prodigy is a game that requires the students to answer math questions in order to move forward in the game. Prodigy Math is played by millions of K-8 students globally.
