TES AND PRODIGY
Trenton Elementary 3rd and 4th grade students worked hard on Prodigy to become the State Champions for November. This also qualifies them to compete in the National Championship in May. For the month of November these students answered 29,586 correct math questions. Prodigy is a game that requires the students to answer math questions in order to move forward in the game. Prodigy Math is played by millions of K-8 students globally. The engaging game adjusts the difficulty to each student's level, and aligns with educational standards, making learning fun and effective. TigersROAR!

Annie Brown and Paisley Kollatschny - 2nd Grade
Anni Brown approaches every task with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude! Anni deeply cares for her peers - whether she’s offering encouragement, lending a helping hand, or stepping up to lead by example. Her kindness, reliability, and commitment to excellence make her an outstanding Tiger role model. (Hallie Richardson - 2nd Grade Teacher)
Paisley Kollatschny is full of energy and personality, and she definitely keeps me on my toes! But what stands out most is her hard work and determination. She comes to school eager to learn, takes initiative to practice at home, and never hesitates to dive in and try her best. She’s growing tremendously as a reader and writer, and her effort and enthusiasm are truly inspiring. I’m so proud of her hard work! (Reghan Beezley - 2nd Grade Teacher)

Michele Powell - 2nd Grade Teacher
I want to send a shout out to Mrs. Powell. Since the first day of school, she has been an amazing teacher. Her outgoing personality, passion for teaching, and patience with each of her students give them the best opportunity to learn, and she also makes learning fun. Every day, my son comes home excited, telling us what he has learned that day in her class. The friendly notes she sends home from time to time let us know how well our son is doing in her class, and she also has something positive to say, along with something our son has said or done that was funny or made her day. The little things she does for her students are what make her stand out. I feel she deserves to be recognized as an amazing teacher and deserves the TES spotlight. (Candice Baca - Parent of Alex Spears)
I love Mrs. Powell. She is so sweet, and the best teacher in the world. (Tinley Phifer - 2nd Grade)
Mrs. Powell is cool and I like her. (Alex Spears - 2nd Grade)
I love all of my classmates because all of them are really nice. I love my teacher Mrs. Powell too because she helps me learn. (Nita Axworth - 2nd Grade)

Each nine week period TES celebrates our ROARing Tigers. For the first nine weeks our Tigers were treated to a movie at the Odeum Theatre in Whitewright.

Charlie Johnson and Daniel Axworth - 4th Grade Leaders
Charlie Johnson has been a model 4th Grade Trenton Tiger. She comes to school with a smile on her face and tries her best each day. She offers to help her classmates when she can. Charlie has a positive outlook that helps her peers stay positive too. (Samantha Listello - 4th Grade ELAR Teacher)
Daniel Axworth has been an amazing addition to our fourth grade group. He has learned our ROAR expectations and uses them everyday! He comes to school with a positive attitude that shows in his participation and classwork. Not only is he great in the classroom but is always offering to help his classmates or teachers outside of the classroom. I am so glad Daniel has joined us and cannot wait to see how far he goes this year. (Tabitha Spindle - 4th Grade Math Teacher)

Brionne Mitchell - Elementary Music and Art
Shout out to Brionne Mitchell. The students have loved her engaging art and music lessons. Her room is inviting and full of amazing learning opportunities.
I also love the colored cones that made it out to the car line! It really helps the students find their spot, and definitely adds to afternoon dismissal running more efficiently.
I am so glad she is part of our school. (Jennifer Nager - 3rd Grade ELAR Teacher)
Mrs.Mitchell has brought wonderful ideas and many smiles to our campus. TES students adore her and love spending time in Art/Music learning from her. She is always willing to help with any task, approaching everything with positivity and enthusiasm. She is a great addition to TES.(Kelly Dudley - TES Counselor)
You know I’m lovin’ this!! (Announcement of multiple performances at TES) My girls are loving Mrs. Mitchell! (Mallory Barnes - Kinder and 4th Grade Parent)

TES saw a lot of spirit on Twin Day. Tomorrow we hope to see many of our Little Tigers in Trenton colors, and some Homecoming mums and garters. Mrs. Mitchell will be selling and painting "Spirit Dots" for $1 tomorrow in the cafeteria starting at 7:20. Go Tigers!
