TES OCTOBER STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Melanie Cranford - First Grade
Melanie Cranford makes a connection with every student and staff member in the school. Mrs.Cranford makes a point to let all students know she cares about them - even students who have never had her as a teacher. She is the first one to reach out to new staff members, and make them feel welcome, and she continues to check on them throughout the year. Mrs. Cranford's positive attitude is contagious. She is a friend to all, and if there is something you need, she probably has it, and is always willing to help or share. Mrs. Cranford brings joy to our school and epitomizes TigersTogether!

TES OCTOBER STUDENT LEADERS
Autumn Sherwood- 4th Grade and Sage Johnson - 2nd Grade
Autumn Sherwood has been working super hard and finding ways to make math better for her. She never gives up and is always giving 100%. Autumn designed her own way to add and subtract decimals - using what works for her to be successful. I am super proud of Autumn for always pushing herself to be better! (Tabitha Spindle - 4th Grade Math)
Sage Johnson is a wonderful example of what you want to see in a student. He is an energetic learner, actively listening and participating in all subjects in our classroom. He follows the ROAR guidelines, and cares about his fellow classmates. He is a joy to teach with his enthusiastic smile. Thanks for being such an awesome student leader. (Michele Powell - 2nd Grade Teacher)

TES AUGUST STAFF SPOTLIGHT - THE "SPECIALS" TEAM
Everyone at TES has worked so hard to get school off to a great start. It takes all of us, but we would have a much more difficult time making it through these first few weeks of school without all of these very special people pitching in to do everything - from lending an extra pair of hands with our littles, subbing at the last minute, assisting with testing, translating, doing “Honey Dos” for anything teachers need, filing and helping in the office, just seeing what needs to be done and doing it without even being asked, and so much more!

TES AUGUST STUDENT LEADERS -
GENESIS CASTRO - 3rd Grade and DAVIN JACOBS - 4th Grade
Genesis has made a tremendous amount of growth since coming to TES three years ago. She has started the school year with a positive attitude and continues to show ROARing behavior in the classroom. Genesis always wants to be kind and helpful to others. She befriends and helps the younger students on the bus, and often translates for them. (Jennifer Nager - 3rd Grade Reading/Writing)
Davin has had a great start to the school year. He is participating in class discussions and his behavior has been off the charts! As a fourth grader he is modeling how students should behave in the hallways and classroom, and often holds the door open for all students. Davin is showing what a true Tiger Leader looks like. (Tabitha Spindle - 4th Grade Math)

TES BOOK FAIR - AUGUST 30 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2024
Please see information about the Scholastic Book Fair and e-wallet at TES. Reminder - Grandparents need to pre-register for Grandparents' Luncheon with link below..

TES MAY STUDENT LEADERS
Lyla Barnes - 1st Grade and Ezra Phillips - Kindergarten
I am so proud of the growth Lyla has shown this year. She is such a hard worker, and when she sets her mind to achieving a goal, nothing will stop her. She is a great friend to her classmates and to those not in her class as well. She is always willing to help those who are struggling with a task or to read with someone to help them improve their reading skills. Lyla helps to make my days better with her sweet smile and her loving hugs. Thank you Lyla for letting me be your teacher this year. (Melanie Cranford - First Grade Teacher)
Ezra is always willing to help others and give his very best. Ezra brings an extra snack for a friend who doesn't bring one. He always thinks of others and wants to help. Ezra sets a good example for his classmates. It has been a true pleasure to have been his teacher this year. (Christina King - Kindergarten Teacher)

TES FUN DAY
Even though all the rain made our grounds too wet for field day, TES students didn't let that dampen their fun. Huge thanks to Coach Freese, Coach Murphy and PTO for making an alternate plan, and providing the inflatable obstacle courses for all students to enjoy.
