Congratulations to Edward Holder as he made Trenton Tiger Band history today! He was the first ever band member to make it to State Solo and Ensemble competition and is now the first ever Tiger Band member to earn a superior rating at the competition!! A superior score is the highest rating possible. We are very proud to have him as a member of the Trenton Tiger Band! #TigersTogether

Trenton ISD end our last workday of the year enjoying a great meal and celebrating our staff. We handed out plenty of service pins, announced our staff of the year, and celebrated three amazing people who are retiring. Congratulations to the following staff members of the year. None more special than Dana Capps who received her 30 year pin! It’s always hard to say goodbye but these three amazing people deserve to be celebrated. Today, I’m proud to announce a Board of Trustee approved pay increase for teachers and staff for the upcoming school year.

Our teachers and staff are the foundation of student success. This investment recognizes their dedication, professionalism, and the important work they do every day for our students and families.

Our teachers inspire learning, our support staff keep our schools running safely and smoothly, and every employee across this district plays an essential role in student success. From the classroom to transportation, food services, custodial, counseling, and administration, this district succeeds because of the dedication of its people.

As we move forward planning for the new year, we remain focused on providing exceptional educational opportunities for every student while continuing to support the dedicated professionals who make that mission possible. It’s a great day to be a Trenton TIger! #TigersTogether

For those of you that have not completed registration yet, tomorrow is the final day to register your returning student. If you want to ensure your child in on an elementary class list, has a middle/high school schedule, or is assigned a bus route, please get them registered before tomorrow's deadline. #TigersTogether

Last Friday evening was our FFA Banquet and Auction. We had a great turnout and our students did an amzing job facilitating the event. We want to thank everyone that attended and supported our FFA program. Look for great things to come during the 26-27 school year!

This is the final chance to get your returning student registered for the 26-27 school year. Any student not registered by May 20th will not be on a class roster or have a middle/high school schedule when they are released in early August.

Several of our families have started the process but not completed it. Please help us by getting your child registered before May 20th. If you need any assistance please contact Mrs. Shaw via email or at the number on the flyer so we can assist you in this process.

What a great night watching these students graduate from the Trenton Youth Police Academy. These students just completed a 12 week academy where they had the opportunity to learn hands on from a variety of law enforcement agencies and first responders. On behalf of Trenton ISD, we want to thank the City of Trenton Police Department and Officer Ken Franklin for organizing this amazing opportunity for all of these students. #TigersTogether

It’s Election Day for the TISD Board of Trustees. The polls close at 7 pm. Last day for the District to receive and accept Ballots by Mail: Monday 5/4/2026 by 5 pm Location: Trenton ISD Administration Office - 2293 FM 815 Trenton, Texas 75490. When facing the High School building, please enter the door on the left where the Administration Office is located. You must be a registered voter within the bounds of Trenton ISD, and you must provide a valid photo ID at the time of voting. If you are unable to vote in the office due to physical disabilities or limitations only, you can park in the curbside voting space located in the front of the building marked with a sign as "Curbside Voting Space," call the office at 903-989-2245 ext. 1504, and someone will be out to assist you.
