We have revised the school calendar to accomodate our move into the new elementary building this spring. Please note the following changes to the calendar:
February 6 and March 6 will now be instructional days, students will now be required to attend school on these dates.
These two dates (February 6 and March 6) were originally scheduled as staff workdays. The staff workdays have now been moved to March 11 and March 12. These are the dates that we will begin moving into the new elementary building. When we return from spring break, the elementary will be in the new building.
Students will now have an extended spring break, March 11 through March 20.

We appreciate everyone's support and understanding through this process. We are excited to be nearing the conclusion of the various construction projects our district has been navigating over the past couple of years. We are now just a couple of months away from having a new high school, a new gymnasium, a new ag animal barn, and a new elementary building in our district. After talking with the City regarding the water leak, TISD will be dismissing school early today at 2:30 pm. If you are not able to pick up your child or if you will not have someone at home when the buses drop off, please contact your child's campus office.
We are in the process of getting as many elementary and middle school students back from the UIL competition as possible in order for the early release. We have a few students that will remain in Tom Bean to complete their events. Students remaining in Tom Bean to complete their events will be contacting their parents.
The elementary will also be under a boil notice tomorrow, so we will not have water fountains available for the students. Elementary students may bring a clear botte of water with them to school tomorrow.
Tonight's middle school basketball games will be held as scheduled and high school practices will be conducted as scheduled.

PTO does amazing things to support us each month. We LOVE our cozy Christmas blankets and goodies. We can't wait to snuggle up with these and a movie on Christmas break!
Trenton ISD is proud to host our First Annual Santa’s Supper:
Santa’s Supper is a free holiday meal for anyone in our community. Trenton ISD staff members will be preparing and serving a holiday meal consisting of turkey and dressing, cream potatoes, green beans, rolls, and desert.
Along with the meal, we will have stations set up where children will be able to write letters to Santa and make reindeer food with assistance from our Beta Club.
To ensure we prepare enough food and have enough materials for the children’s activities, we simply ask that you please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up for the meal by noon on December 12, 2025. Again, this meal is free and available to anyone in our community. If you know of any senior citizen who may need assistance signing up for the meal, please contact Mr. Strickland at jstrickland@trentonisd.org
