Hello Tiger Families,
Communication is a vital part of the relationship between Trenton ISD and the families we serve. As we embark on a new school year, I wanted to take a moment and share the best way for parents to communicate directly with school staff during the school year. I know that oftentimes families have questions about a variety of things regarding school and we want to answer those questions as they arise.
The two best ways to contact the school is by calling or emailing the appropriate campus, or staff member. Whether you have questions about buses, lunches, or school supplies, no matter the question, we have someone to provide the answer.
ParentSquare, if you haven’t signed up for ParentSquare, please do so. We just rolled over into the new school year, so you may have to reset your password, etc. ParentSquare allows families to message school staff and ParentSquare will be the primary communication method to get important information to our families.
Facebook, we will share all the great things happening in our district throughout the year on our Facebook page for families and the community to see. Our Facebook page is only intended to share information, we will not answer questions via Facebook.
If you have questions that you want answered by school staff to ensure you’re getting the correct information, please email, use ParentSquare, or call the appropriate campus. When you call us, our amazing secretaries will make sure your question gets to the appropriate staff member.
We are also looking to develop an email list for families interested. Families on the email list will only receive information from the Superintendent’s office regarding important matters and events in the district. We will have more information on this method of communication soon.
Communication Procedures for 26-27:
1. All information regarding your child’s absences must be either emailed to the campus secretary or principal, or call your child’s campus secretary to report absence information.
2. Any changes to how your child gets home from school must be called in to the appropriate campus secretary by 2:30 pm. Parents may not email or message their child’s teachers regarding transportation changes.
3. Teachers will not be reading or responding to ParentSquare messages during their instructional/teaching time.
It’s also important to know that we want our staff members to be able to have uninterrupted time away from their work. In order to ensure that we protect their time at home and with their families, any messages sent after 3:45 pm are not required to be answered until the next scheduled school day.
We are looking forward to a great 26-27 school year and seeing all of our Tigers back on campus in just a few days! #TigersTogether
Sincerely,
Jeremy Strickland

Help us welcome Mrs. Clark to the Elementary Staff!
Hello!! My name is Nicole Clark and I am beyond thrilled to be joining the first grade team this year at Trenton!! I graduated from Midwestern State University. I’m excited for this upcoming school year!
I really enjoy working with kids, watching them learn and grow, so first grade is going to be so much fun! I am so excited to love on a new group of students. We’re going to have SO MUCH FUN together, and I can’t wait to get started!
My husband and I chose to move to Trenton because of the school district, academic reputation, and close knit community. #TigersTogether
