Trenton ISD is excited to announce that Andrew Raiden has been selected as district's next Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Coach Raiden brings over 10 years of coaching experience and a strong foundation in leadership, program development, and student-athlete mentorship.

He and his wife Jennifer reside in Trenton with their daughter, Abby. Along with their older daughters, Ashton and Jackie, the family loves being an active part of the Trenton community.

Coach Raiden began his coaching career at East Texas A&M University, where he started as a graduate assistant before earning a full-time assistant coaching position. During his time at the collegiate level, he developed a passion for building competitive programs rooted in discipline, accountability, and teamwork.

Following his experience in college athletics, Coach Raiden transitioned to the high school level, where he has spent the majority of his career developing student-athletes and building strong, competitive programs in multiple sports. Throughout his coaching career, he has gained extensive experience on the football field, including multiple years serving as an Offensive Coordinator.

Prior to his career in education and athletics, Coach Raiden served six years in the United States military. His military experience helped shape his leadership style, emphasizing integrity, resilience, discipline, and a team-first mindset. These values continue to guide his approach as both a coach and administrator.

Coach Raiden believes athletics provide a powerful platform for teaching life skills and preparing students for success beyond high school. As Athletic Director, he is committed to building a unified athletic program that emphasizes excellence across all sports, supports academic achievement, and fosters strong relationships between coaches, athletes, families, and the community.

As Head Football Coach, he is dedicated to developing a program built on effort, toughness, and accountability—one that represents the school and community at the highest level.
