Middle school cheerleaders worked hard at day two of camp and were rewarded for their efforts! First, they received the highly coveted spirit stick! During the evaluations today the girls earned a red excellent ribbon for their band chant and a blue superior ribbon for their situational chant! These girls are working extremely hard every minute of camp and it is showing!

At Day 2 of NCA Cheer camp the THS Varsity Cheerleaders received several awards. Their first awards were a Blue Ribbon for their situational chant and red ribbon for their band chant. We received a spirit stick for the 2nd day in a row. Their final award was the herkie award. The NCA Herkie Team Award is a prestigious honor given by the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) to cheerleading squads who demonstrate exceptional teamwork, leadership, and embody the core values of the NCA during camp. It's named after NCA founder L.R.Herkimer, often called the "father of modern cheerleading". The award signifies a team that leads by example, encourages others, and upholds the values of spirit, teamwork, and hard work

TISD Families,
Online Registration for current TISD students is open now through July 25th. To complete, log in to Parent Portal and the link to complete registration should automatically pop up. If it does not, that means there is an issue that requires assistance. Please contact ashaw@trentonisd.org with parent name, student name, and grade for help.
Schedules, class lists, and bus route information will be posted onThursday, August 7th.
Completing registration on time allows the district adequate time to build schedules, assign classes, and bus routes.
Students who are not registered by July 25th will not have a middle/high school schedule or an elementary class assignment. The registration process also informs the district if a student will be a bus rider. Students not registered by July 25 will not be assigned a bus route until the second week of the school year.
In person late registration assistance will be provided 8/11 and 8/12, 8am-6pm at both TES & TMS campuses. Spanish speaking parents will have a translator available on these days.
Last chance registration assistance is 8/15, 8am-2pm on the ES & MS campuses.
We hope our students and families are having a great summer and we look forward to seeing all of our Tigers soon! #TigersTogether #TogetherWeRoar

FFA traveled to the State Convention in Fort Worth.
Throughout the week, our students attended powerful general sessions, participated in hands-on leadership workshops, networked with other FFA members, explored the expo and vendor areas, and even took part in voting for new state officers. One of the highlights was "Fun Night," where the theme this year was Party Like It’s 1776—a fun and patriotic celebration that wrapped up the week on a high note.
A particularly proud moment for our chapter was when our very own Justin Morman was awarded with her Lone Star FFA Degree. This is the highest degree the Texas FFA can bestow upon a member and represents significant accomplishments in their supervised agricultural experiences, FFA involvement, and leadership development. It’s a tremendous honor that reflects years of hard work, dedication, and commitment—and we couldn’t be more proud of her!
A special thank you to Ms. Godinez and Mr. Parker for taking our FFA to the state convention.
