It's almost time for the UIL State Spirit Competition! This Thursday, the group that's always cheering everyone on needs our support in cheering them on. Our THS Cheerleaders are headed to Fort Worth to participate in the UIL Spirit Competition. Good Luck to these amazing young ladies! #TigersTogether

For our fans planning on attending today's varsity basketball games, please know our parking lot is going to be messy and it still has several slick spots.
We've been working since early this morning to clear it but it will not be fully cleared by game time.
Please use caution entering the parking lot and walking to the gym entrance.
Basketball games have been moved to tomorrow. Varsity only beginning at 1 pm.
Trenton ISD will be closed Friday, January 10, 2025 due to the winter weather. We expect morning road conditions to be hazardous for travel.
If road conditions improve by early afternoon, we may still play our district basketball games. An announcement regarding basketball will be made around lunchtime tomorrow.
The CX Debate Meet in Princeton has been canceled.
We hope everyone stays warm and safe during the winter weather.
Please see the letter from Mr. Strickland regarding closing school due to the Winter Storm.
TISD Reminder:
In the event of winter weather closures or delays, Trenton ISD will use ParentSquare, Facebook, and post information on NBC Channel 5. Please keep in mind that we will only post information if there is a change to the normal district schedule.
If you are not getting the districts messages via ParentSquare, please contact Mrs. Shaw for assistance at 903-989-2245 Ext. 2503 or email at ashaw@trentonisd.org
Sincerely,
Jeremy Strickland
Superintendent

This year, we had 85 Trenton ISD students and siblings on the district's Angel Tree.
Through the generosity of TISD staff, students, and community members, we collected enough donations to provide for these individuals.
A special thanks goes out to Ms. Warren, Mr. Damian, Mrs. Logan, the middle school Student Council, along with Mrs. Alexander and the high school Leadership Team for playing a major role in making sure that Christmas will be a little more special for those on the Angel Tree.
Thank you to Coach Garewal for volunteering to drive the bus so our middle school Student Council could go shopping for the Angel Tree and a BIG thank you to everyone that donated.
#TigersTogether is more than just a hashtag. It’s who we are each and every day.
Thank you again to everyone that played a part in meeting the needs for the children on this year's Angel Tree.

Today was a pretty special day for Trenton ISD. This morning, we had a Beam Signing with our Kindergarten and Senior classes.
Our seniors helped the kindergartners sign their names on a beam that will be exposed in the new gymnasium. Then the seniors were able to sign their names on the beam.
Throughout the remainder of the day, all the high school students, and district staff members signed their names on the beam.
Members of the Trenton ISD board of trustees along with representatives from HWH Construction joined us for this beam signing.
A special thank you to HWH Construction and BWA Architects for working with us on this special project.
Great things are happening in Trenton ISD! #TigersTogether #NoPlaceBetter
