It was a wonderful evening for Trenton ISD. We had an amazing turnout for both Meet the Teacher and Meet the Tiger! It was great being able to welcome our students and families back onto our campuses. Thank you to everyone that came out tonight and for your patience as we have worked to get our facilities ready for the school year. We look forward to seeing all our students next Tuesday, August 22 for the first day of school! #TigerTogether

TISD Families, New state law now makes it Mandatory to place a student in DAEP for vaping within 300 feet of a school campus.

We hope you will join us tonight for Meet the Teacher from 4:30 - 6:30 pm and then Meet the Tiger at 7 pm. We are excited to welcome all of our Tiger families back tonight! Please be aware of the new traffic patterns at the middle/high school campus. Volleyball Schedule Update: Saturday's scrimmage at Valley View is now a 10 am start time. #TigersTogether

On behalf of Trenton ISD, I want to thank the RockYard and everyone that participated in or assisted with the 2023 Back the Teachers Fundraiser. This fundraiser resulted in $13,500 being donated to the teaching staff on our elementary campus. It was truly amazing to see so many people come together at the fundraiser and support teachers from multiple school districts across our area. Dual Credit Students - IMPORTANT MESSAGE Junior and Senior Dual Credit students will need to report to school on Wednesday, August 16th (Juniors and Seniors) and Thursday, August 17th (Seniors ONLY) for Dual Credit college classes. The coaches are aware of who will not be in athletics these mornings. Class times will be on their schedules they pick up this week as well. Wednesday, August 16th-Juniors 7:50 am - 9:30 am - US History Wednesday, August 16th- Seniors 9:40 am - 11:20 am - Government Thursday, August 17th-Seniors 7:50 am - 9:30 am College Algebra and 9:40 am - 11:20 am - English If any students are taking additional classes on their own, they need to make sure to take care of those classes as well for this week. TISD Middle/High School Families, Please use the main parking lot and the cafeteria entrance when you come to pick up your Chromebooks and class schedules. The front drive and entrance of the high school is closed until further notice due to the work being done to the middle school portable buildings. Reminder: HS football begins at 6am on Monday, July 31. Athletes need to be at the fieldhouse by 5:30 to get any needed equipment.

TISD Parents, Letters have been sent to those families who are still missing student registration info in our system; please check your mail over the next week. If you need assistance with online registration, you can contact Amy Shaw at the high school: ashaw@trentonisd.org, 903-989-2242 ext. 2503. Registration is now back open on all campuses. If completing the online registration at school is more convenient for you, the high school will be open July 25-27, 7:30 am-3:30 pm (or by appointment).

VOLLEYBALL CAMP: July 24-27 HS gym. Cost 20, shirt included. Incoming 4th-6th grade—10:15-11:45. Incoming 7th-9th grade —12-2. Can register on the first day of camp.

Trenton FFA members traveled to Dallas this week to join over 14,000 students for the 95th Annual Texas FFA Convention and Expo where they attended leadership workshops, served as Courtesy Corp members and attended multiple sessions where they served as delegates, listened to multiple speakers, and learned about opportunities they are eligible for through the FFA!

Members from the American Legion Post #283 out of Bonham made a $3,000 donation to Trenton ISD today. The donation was a result of a benefit auction Post #283 held this summer to assist with teacher supplies lost in the elementary fire. Trenton ISD greatly appreciates this generous donation from the American Legion Post #283.

TISD Parents, Please find the official TISD School Supply Lists in the images attached. We have worked to reduce the number of supplies our students need this year by using the donation items we received after the elementary fire.
