Did you know that September is Suicide Awareness Month? Mental health is so important to each of us, and I guarantee that all of us know someone who struggles to stay mentally healthy (and sometimes it's us, personally). One way we can improve mental health is to speak up about it and remove the stigma. The THS Leadership Team has been participating in the Walk for Hope for the last 6 years, and the event grows each year. The Walk is September 28th. Our goal is to continue to grow our team and to invite others to join us. Click on link for more information and how to register. The THS Leadership Team has selected a shirt and we will be wearing it the day of the walk. If you would like to order a shirt, the deadline is September 20th.

WRAPPING UP THE WEEK AT TES
This Friday looked a lot like last Friday. Our heroes, Tiger Football Players, welcomed the little Tigers to school. Construction work continues, and we wrapped up Grandparents' Week and the Book Fair with 3rd grade.

Truly a great day to be a Trenton Tiger!!!
It started with an inspired pep-rally lead by our cheer squad, volleyball followed with a 5 set win over Wolfe City, The Fighting Tiger Marching Band made their inaugural performance, and football capped the evening with a shutout win over Celeste.
Thank you to the all the students, parents, faculty, and staff that came together to help "build" a stronger, more spirited community! The Trenton Tigers made this pep rally a “constructive” and unforgettable experience!

Yesterday, TISD Board Members were given the opportunity to tour the high school construction site with representatives from HWH Construction and BWA Architects.
Board Members were able to see firsthand how much work has gone into the project and get insight to what is going to happen over the next few weeks and months.
We are looking forward to watching this project continue to develop over the next few months. #TigersTogether
