Senior Spotlight - Zinneah Adams

It was a busy week for Trenton FFA Members:
Karston Benavides and Kylie Lambright competed and won multiple awards at the Turquoise and Feathers show in Eustice.
Vet Tech and Poultry competed at Area Contest at A&M Commerce with Poultry Receiving 4th in the District.
Members attended the District 2 FFA Banquet where Sage Kiefer retired as a District Officer and Justice Morman was elected to serve as a 2024-2025 District officer.
Congratulations to these FFA members!





Softball News!
The Lady Tigers completed district play last night by defeating Whitewright. With the victory, the Lady Tigers will enter the playoffs as the 15-2A Undefeated District Champions!
Our playoff opponent and information will not be known until Monday or Tuesday.

Senior Spotlight - Congratulations to the 2024 THS Salutatorian Mr. Caleb Crittenden.

For the next few weeks, we will be posting our 2024 Senior Spotlights. We will begin with our 2024 THS Valedictorian Mr. David Parsons. Congratulations David, we are very proud of you and know you will continue doing amazing things.

FFA News!
The Horse Evaluation team received 5th in District and 28th in Area out of 77 teams with Justice Morman receiving 5th out of 278 students. We are not only in the most competitive Area in the state but we are also in the most competitive district! This is an amazing accomplishment for these students!
The Ag Sales team received 3rd in District and 12th in Area with Lexington Williams Placing 14th out of 62 students. This was our first year competing in this event and I can’t wait to see how this team will shape up next year!
Poultry and Vet Science will compete next week at Commerce.



Senior Activity Schedule

Congratulations to THS artist Hector Torres on winning second place and $50.00 from the Fannin County Children's Center. Hector’s entry was created around the theme “Once Upon A Time” and will be published by the Children’s Center to help raise money for their critical services for the children of our county. Awesome job Hector! We are proud of you!

Trenton HS 2024 UIL District Academic Champions!
Trenton High School hosted the 2024 UIL District 14-2A Academic Meet on Monday and Friday this week. The UIL District 14-2A Academic District includes Bland, Celeste, Honey Grove, Sam Rayburn, Tom Bean, Trenton, Whitewright, and Wolfe City. This marks our tenth straight District Academic Championship! Please join us in congratulating our students and staff on achieving this significant academic milestone. The District Meet results are listed below. The UIL Conference 2A Region II Academic Meet will be hosted by Grayson College in Denison, Texas. The dates of the Region Meet are April 26-27, 2023.
