Trenton High School Beta Club Attends Leadership Summit
Grapevine, TX October 18-19, 2023 –National Beta members from Trenton High School are celebrating their recent participation in the TX Leadership Summit. They were announced as qualifiers of the following challenges: Collaboration Connection, Project Proposal, and Lead Outside the Box.
National Beta Leadership Summits bring together students from multiple states for 1-2 day events. During that time, students work with interactive speakers who engage members through introspective exercises and team-building activities. Clubs can also participate in team-based leadership challenges which test their communication, critical thinking, creativity, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Their victories at this level provide the opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention will be held at the Savannah International Convention Center in Savannah, GA during Summer 2024.
Congratulations to all of these students! #TigersTogether

REWARDING WEEK AT TES
Shoutout to Trenton Fire Department for sharing about fire safety with Pre-K and Kindergarten.
As a Positive Behavior Reward, many of our students earned the privilege of going to a movie for exhibiting ROARing behavior during the first 9 weeks. TES students highly recommend The Odeum Theatre in Whitewright!
Report cards and Awards were sent home today.
We hope to see our families at the PTO Fall Fest tomorrow at Trenton High School Gym from 3:00-5:00.

Trenton ISD Families,
When our volleyball team travels to Sam Rayburn on Friday evening, there will be a benefit BBQ meal being held to raise money for a Sam Rayburn ISD employee. This employee has experienced an unexpected medical situation and is currently in the hospital. I’m hoping that our Tigers fans planning on attending the volleyball game will support this cause. It’s a great opportunity for us to return some of the blessings we received last spring when we were in need.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Strickland
Superintendent
Trenton ISD
