TES - SEPTEMBER TEAM OF THE MONTH
The first grade team is a very special team. They understand that teachers NEED other teachers. This team knows how to work together to grow students. They don't think of "my" kids, they support the concept that all first grade students are "our kids," and they work to serve all students. This team knows how to have fun and enjoy school, and they make learning fun for the students they serve. #TigersTogether

CHASE PRITCHARD (1ST) AND LAKEYN MIKA (1ST) - SEPTEMBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
Chase's teacher, Mrs. Boggess, states that Chase is a hard worker, has his homework completed every night and is respectful and kind to others. Chase always does the right thing, even when no one is watching - integrity.
Lakeyn's teacher, Mrs. Cranford, reports that Lakeyn has a great attitude and is so responsible and patient. Lakeyn loves to help other students and never loses her temper. #Tigersroar

Texoma Regional Blood Center will be on campus Monday, October 3rd from 9-3. Students 17+ with photo ID are allowed to donate. Seniors who make 2 donations during their senior year earn a red graduation cord, and they are also eligible to apply for a scholarship in the spring. Since the scholarship takes into consideration how many donations are made on the student's behalf, family and community members are welcome to donate. During the registration process you can name a THS senior to receive credit for your donation. Be sure to hydrate and have a good meal prior to donating!

Fifth grade STEM students and their self designed, engineered, and constructed Newton’s Laws of Motion mazes. They used only glue, scissors, pencils, straws, and rulers to create the mazes and then they rolled the marbles! #TigersTogether #Thrive

We hope you will come out tomorrow night at 7:30 pm to cheer on the Tigers in our Homecoming game! One of these four ladies will be crowned Homecoming Queen at halftime.

Changes to Today's Football Schedule:
Due to some of our middle school football players being out today, the middle school game will be a controlled scrimmage format starting at 5 pm. This format will only last approximately 30 minutes. The JV game will now start at approximately 5:30 pm.

Thank you to the generous community members and friends of Mrs. Johnson who are helping stock Connie's Closet! Within 18 hours of our post, amazon packages began arriving. Trenton High School appreciates you!

Some have asked about re-orders for the Elementary "ROAR" T-shirts. Order long or short sleeve shirts.

SECOND GRADE SCIENTISTS
Students in Ms. Price's class posed the question - How does a boat float if it's so big and heavy? They then used the Scientific Method by formulating a hypothesis, "Does it float better if it's flat?" Students took turns testing their boat's buoyancy in the water, observed and collected data. Fun, curiosity and engagement improves learning!

Congratulations to the TMS Students and Teacher of the Month for August: Aleah Frazier, Andy Fuentes, and Mr. Damian! All three of these people make TMS a better place. #TigersTogether #Thrive

Our TMS Lady Tigers traveled to Dodd City tonight for their first volleyball games of the season. Very proud of the hard work everyone’s putting in! #TigersTogether #Thrive
