Texoma Regional Blood Center will be on campus Monday, October 3rd from 9-3. Students 17+ with photo ID are allowed to donate. Seniors who make 2 donations during their senior year earn a red graduation cord, and they are also eligible to apply for a scholarship in the spring. Since the scholarship takes into consideration how many donations are made on the student's behalf, family and community members are welcome to donate. During the registration process you can name a THS senior to receive credit for your donation. Be sure to hydrate and have a good meal prior to donating!

Fifth grade STEM students and their self designed, engineered, and constructed Newton’s Laws of Motion mazes. They used only glue, scissors, pencils, straws, and rulers to create the mazes and then they rolled the marbles! #TigersTogether #Thrive

SECOND GRADE SCIENTISTS
Students in Ms. Price's class posed the question - How does a boat float if it's so big and heavy? They then used the Scientific Method by formulating a hypothesis, "Does it float better if it's flat?" Students took turns testing their boat's buoyancy in the water, observed and collected data. Fun, curiosity and engagement improves learning!
Congratulations to the TMS Students and Teacher of the Month for August: Aleah Frazier, Andy Fuentes, and Mr. Damian! All three of these people make TMS a better place. #TigersTogether #Thrive

Trenton High School is proud to introduce Connie's Closet! Our goal is to serve students and honor Mrs. Connie Johnson by making available day to day necessities like personal hygiene items and school supplies. Our students have been actively using the donated items, so community members who'd like to help restock Connie's Closet can view our amazon list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/36IKU2THL2JZY?ref_=wl_share
The photo of Mrs. Johnson on display reads:
After 39 years in education as a Family & Consumer Science teacher, Mrs. Connie Johnson retired in 2017 from Trenton High School where she taught for 17 years. She loved sharing her family values with students and teaching them skills they would use for life.
She was married to Willard Johnson, who also taught at Trenton ISD, and her son Cramer is a THS graduate.
After Mrs. Johnson's death in 2021, her family gave a monetary donation to do something that would benefit students in her honor. Austin Barnes, one of her former students, donated this cabinet, and the family's donation was used to stock it. We hope to honor Mrs. Johnson by serving students for years to come through Connie's Closet.
