The power has been restored to the middle and high school campuses. At this time, the only issue we are still addressing is that our internet has not been restored yet. This also means our phone lines will be down until the internet is restored. We will resume our normal operations tomorrow with buses running at normal times. The storms that hit our area this morning caused some damages at the high school, including some of the construction materials at the new high school. If you live in the neighborhood behind the high school, we are aware of the wide spread issue caused by the storm.
Representatives from the construction company Harrison, Walker, & Harper have already started walking the neighborhood assesing what needs to be cleaned up. Trenton ISD will be closed today due to the extended power outage and the amount of trees down on our bus routes. We will resume normal operations tomorrow. All school activities for today are canceled.

Trenton ISD will have a delayed start due to a power outage across our district. At this time, we are planning a 9:30 am start time. Please understand this is subject to change depending on the situation with the power outage.

Trenton ISD buses will be running approximately 30 minutes later than normal due to the approaching storms and the wind gust associated with the storms. At this time, our school day will start at normal times, but buses will be delayed approximately 30 minutes.

THS Beta traveled to Grapevine this weekend to compete in the Texas Beta Convention. Our outgoing state and national secretary, Lexington Williams gave a keynote speech. Junior Haley Lowe was elected as the next 2025-2026 Texas Secretary. She will now run for secretary at the National Convention this summer in Orlando, Florida!
Senior Olivia Strickland was one of the five students from the state that received the Milton Family Memorial scholarship.
We are so proud of all the kids having a great convention this weekend! A big thank you to Coach Williams, Coach and Mrs. McCarley, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson for all their assistance!
All individual plaques will be handed out at the end of the year academic awards ceremony.

It's Game Day!
Thursday Baseball and Softball:
Baseball will be playing in the Van Alstyne Tournament at 11:30 am on Thursday. The outcome of Thursday's game will determine the game time for Friday's game.
Softball will be playing in the Bells and Bonham Tournament on Thursday. The Lady Tigers play in Bells at 11:50 am and then in Bonham at 4:00 pm.

This week Trenton FFA celebrated National FFA week. FFA members traveled to the Elementary school where they meet with Kindergarten through 2nd grade and hosted a coloring contest while visiting with students about what the FFA is all about!
